Hardwick’s Natural Resources Inventory is now online!
The commission started working in April 2023 to establish a Natural Resources Inventory of the town of Hardwick
Here are some of the existing maps that include information about a variety of interesting features such as wetland areas, habitat connectors, and soil types.
Town Employee, Ken LaCasse, has been selected as a recipient of the 2023 Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator of the Year Award. Ken was nominated by the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation to acknowledge his work in the field of wastewater treatment. Please join us in congratulating Ken on this award!
Please see the attached link below. The State of Vermont needs help in order to proceed with the clean up of the debris from the flood that occurred in July. It is very important that property owners report debris to the Town Manager’s Office 802-472-6120. This will help the State of Vermont and State Emergency Management Program know where there needs attention.

If you haven’t heard already, Caledonia County was just added to the major disaster declaration. This means residents of Hardwick can now apply for FEMA Individual Assistance.
FEMA will have a mobile trailer set up at the Hardwick Elementary School. Residents can meet with FEMA at the mobile trailer to apply for assistance and have any questions answered regarding individual assistance.
