We’ve become aware that automated / AI-generated copies of Town zoning bills are being sent to residents and property owners. These messages are not official town invoices. They are a scam.

Do not pay. Do not wire money.
We would never ask you to send a payment by wire or through an unfamiliar payment service.

Do not respond to the message.
Do not click links or open attachments in the suspicious message.
Do not pay by wire, cryptocurrency, prepaid card, or any other method requested in the message.
Preserve the message — do not delete it. Save a copy or take screenshots.
