We’ve become aware that automated / AI-generated copies of Town zoning bills are being sent to residents and property owners. These messages are not official town invoices. They are a scam.

Do not pay. Do not wire money.
We would never ask you to send a payment by wire or through an unfamiliar payment service.

What you should do right now

• Do not respond to the message.
• Do not click links or open attachments in the suspicious message.
• Do not pay by wire, cryptocurrency, prepaid card, or any other method requested in the message.
• Preserve the message — do not delete it. Save a copy or take screenshots.
