Zoom Meeting with the Hardwick Police Department for Residents of Hardwick and Greensboro
Wednesday, August 26 from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Subject: A Conversation with Our Police Department on the Issues of the Day
Members of our community have requested a conversation with the Hardwick Police Department (HPD) to discuss issues that are in the headlines across the state and nation, including use of force and the nature of interactions between the police department and the community. Members of the HPD will provide some background and perspective on their roles and responsibilities and answer participants’ questions on these current issues as they are reflected in our community. Examples of questions that could arise include:
–What does HPD see as their role in the community?
–What do they see as their strengths?
–Where is the department stretched or feel expectations placed upon them are not realistic?
You can submit questions ahead of time to email@example.com. We’ll try to address them during the meeting, but priority will be given to questions from residents who are actively participating in the meeting. We may be able to respond to unanswered questions after the meeting.
