Town update on COVID-19

Town update April 17, 2020.

The Town of Hardwick will continue to limit public access to offices – at least until May 15.

Offices in the Memorial Building to include, Town Clerk’s, Town Manager’s, Lister’s, Zoning office as well as the Water & Wastewater Department, Police Department, and Highway Department will continue to not allow public access at least until May 15.  The Town is holding this procedure in place to do our part to practice good social distancing measures and protect the health and well-being of town employees and all else involved given the COVID-19 pandemic.

Essential functions are continuing to be conducted while the stay at home / stay safe order is in place.  Please be aware the services for the police department, public water and wastewater department and essential operations of the highway department are continuing. While under independent management Hardwick Rescue and the Hardwick Fire Department also are functioning fully at this time.

The town will continue to monitor operations recommendations issued by the State of Vermont and when determined appropriate will make adjustments on office operations procedures to allow public access.
