The Hardwick Select Board is now accepting letters of interest for an interim Animal Control Officer position. The selected candidate will be assigned by the Select Board to serve in the role until Town Meeting 2020 with an option to extend the assignment beyond this date. Candidates are not required to be a resident of Hardwick. Duties include, but are not limited to, responding to animal complaints, transport of animals to Boarding facilities as necessary, and issuing warrants for unlicensed animals. The position includes a monthly stipend and mileage reimbursement.
Letters of interest should include the applicant’s background information and/or qualifications, as well as a description of why the applicant wishes to fill the role.

Questions about the position should be directed to the Town Manager. Letters are due by Monday, January 13, 2020. Applicants may be asked to attend the Thursday, January 16, 2020 Select Board Meeting.
