The Hardwick Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding the updated Hardwick Municipal Plan. The Hearing will be at 6:30 pm in the Hardwick Memorial Building. Copies of the updated Plan are available in the Town Offices and on-line at https://hardwickvt.gov/government/zoning/

How do I provide comments on the proposed changes to the Hardwick Municipal Plan?
You may provide comments at the Public Hearing (September 3, 2019, 6:30 pm, Hardwick Memorial Building) in verbal or written form, or submit your comments via email to email@example.com at any time.
What is the deadline for providing comments on the proposed changes to the Hardwick Municipal Plan?
You may provide your comments via email to firstname.lastname@example.org until the Plan is renewed (Target date is November 2019). However, your comments have a greater chance of impacting the decisions of the Planning Commission the sooner they are submitted in the review process. The Commission recommends submitting your comments as soon as you have an opinion.
Will my comments on the proposed changes be addressed in the renewed Municipal Plan?
The Planning Commission will acknowledge and discuss your comments at the Public Hearing or subsequent Hearings; however, we cannot guarantee that they will be reflected in the renewed Plan.
Will my questions on the proposed changes be answered?
The Planning Commission will acknowledge and respond to your questions in the manner they are received, either at a Public Hearing or via email.
How is the updated Municipal Plan different from the 2014 Municipal Plan?
The updated Municipal Plan was edited to make the plan more concise and user-friendly. Additions to the plan include guiding language for priority habitat blocks as per Act 171 and revised and updated Economic Development language.
