Hardwick Town Notice regarding removal of signs on Town property

The Hardwick Select Board determined at their September 3 meeting that the existing policy info for signs will remain in place.  This means no posting of signs on Town property unless permission is received and authorized; for allowed and designation locations.  See this link for more info on the policy https://hardwickvt.gov/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/Non-Permitted-Signs-Location-Policy-2011.pdf

For those signs currently on Town property and most notably at the Peace Park on South Main Street,  individuals who placed signs there should retrieve them prior to 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8.   Signs not removed by this time will be taken down by Town employees and stored at the Town Manager’s office for pick up by the close of business on September 18.  Any not picked up by this date will be discarded.  Town Manager’s office number is 472-6120 or email: shaun.fielder@hardwickvt.gov
