Bridgman Hill Water Storage Reservoir Put Back Into Service

Town of Hardwick Public Water System Update January 14, 2020

The Bridgman Hill Water Storage Reservoir was put back into service January 14, 2020.  All required construction improvements are in order at this time and water quality testing as required by the State of Vermont was completed the week of January 6.  With this information in order, the Town received the authorization from the Vermont Drinking Water and Groundwater Protection Division that the Reservoir could be put back into service.  The Town wants to extend a thank you to all customers of the water system for your understanding and consideration over this past 11 months as repairs to the Reservoir were implemented.  There will be a bit of close-out construction for site work and some other small items this Spring. Following this work, an official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place.  Any questions for this issue can be directed to Shaun Fielder, Town Manager, at 472-6120.
