DATE: Friday, July 15, 2022
TRAFFIC IMPACT AND DURATION:
Monday, July 18, through Friday, July 22, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., motorists should expect lane reductions with alternating one-way traffic along Vermont Route 14 (VT 14) and Vermont Route 15 (VT 15) within the project area in Hardwick.
Flaggers will be present to assist motorists through the work zone.
Starting Wednesday, July 20, a portion of VT Route 15 near its intersection with VT Route 215 will be closed to facilitate bridge construction as part of the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail Project. Traffic will be detoured through the Hardwick STP PC23(1) project area. Additional delays are anticipated. Please plan accordingly.
Please note, road surface conditions will vary with segments of uneven and rough terrain. Motorists should use caution when traveling and are reminded to stay alert and slow down through the work zone.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:
Monday through Friday, during the daytime hours, crews will continue preparatory work for the upcoming paving operations including trimming side roads and replacing temporary cold patch around water drainage infrastructure and manholes with permanent bituminous concrete pavement throughout the project area. In addition, crews will be installing permanent roadway signage throughout the project area.
All work will be completed under lane closure.
