In accordance with the provisions of Title 24, Section 1061 of the Vermont Statutes Annotated, the Selectboard of the Town of Hardwick hereby gives notice that it desires to convey the following described real estate (see below) to Dean Mercier and Kelley Mercier, for and in consideration of the sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00).

Unless a petition signed by at least five percent of the legal voters of the municipality objecting to the proposed conveyance is presented to the Hardwick Town Clerk within 30 days of the date of posting and publication of this notice, the Selectboard may consummate said transfer. If such a petition is filed within the time specified, the Selectboard shall cause the question of whether the Town of Hardwick shall convey the real estate to be considered at a special or annual meeting called for that purpose.
